Ted Campbell

Leadership and Executive Coach

I am a fully qualified Leadership and Executive coach with over 18 years’ experience, working with Directors and Chief Executives in the Private, Public and Social Change sectors. I am, also, Director of Executive 21 Limited, which has grown to be a successful business with a solid reputation; and until recently, I was a Member of Faculty for the Academy of Executive Coaching, London

I specialise in enabling clients to become more effective leaders and/or to take on new and bigger roles; and the feedback shows that my clients get results which are not only real and sustainable but frequently exceed their own expectations!

My approach is to develop strong and trusting partnerships with my clients and create a tailored program for each, which may include Stakeholder Input, Leadership Tutorials and/or Strategic Career planning

Prior to my coaching career, I have had more than 15 years’ experience in operational management, including many senior and international roles within the Johnson and Johnson Inc group of companies.

My ideal clients are Chief Executives or General Managers of a Charity or NGO, who are newly into the role or whose role has become bigger and/or more challenging. To pick out one thing that clients find valuable about the way I work is how we start off! That means we clarify what they are in the job TO DO, from their own, and their key stakeholders, perspective. This clear direction and purpose, means that they can more easily identify which behaviours to keep and which to change.

I became a Leadership and Executive Coach because of a strong belief that the way Chief Executives or General Managers act as leaders can have a profound impact on their organisation, on their people and their families and on the society in which we live. I have spent most of my career so far in the corporate and public sectors; however, more recently I have moved in the Charity and Social Change sector, because of the contribution these organisations make to creating a better world. Thus, to have the opportunity to support the Female Social Entrepreneurs in the WILD Network aligns with my own strong sense of purpose; and I very much expect my partnerships with these clients to be very personally fulfilling and rewarding.
